 Advanced Environmental Options, Inc. is committed to protecting our environment.  With this in mind, we have opened a 25,000 square foot

Recycling Center.  Our Recycling Center is open to commercial, industrial and residential recycling. 

 Items that cannot be recycled are slated for reuse or reclamation whenever possible.

Advanced Environmental Options, Inc. generates significant savings for our customers by recycling solvents, oils, combustion engine fluids, and many other oil related products.  AEO collects and processes drummed or bulk shipments of oil and oil related materials using our own oil/water separators and Waste Water Treatment Facility, ensuring that your waste is being protected from future environmental liabilities.  AEO strives to protect our environment by recycling waste oil, oil water mixtures, and oil filters for beneficial reuse.  AEO also recycles many manufactured parts and products.

AEO accepts a wide range of products and equipment for recycling.  Legislation now makes it mandatory to recycle computer, monitors, and electronic equipment through approved facilities.  AEO protects you and your companty from unwanted liabilities.  Obsolete or nonfunctioning electronic equipment can be recycled to conserve natural resources and to protect the environment.  Customers can easily dispose of electronic and process equipment without endangering municipal landfills. 

Under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) issued by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): televisions, monitors, computers, computer peripherals, audio and stereo equipment, VCRs, DVD players, video cameras, telephones, facsimiles, copying machines, cellular phones, wireless devices and video game consoles are primary examples of electronics.  Other examples of equipment that can be recycled are microwaves, toasters , blenders, typewriters, pagers, answering machines, refridgerators, air conditioners, medical equipment and production equipment with electronic controllers. 

Our experienced technicians thoroughly dismantle and sort electronics and equipment for recycling before sending it to an EPA-approved recycling facility.  Technicians dismantling your electronics and equipment will ensure the equipment is completely destroyed and that no technical or confidential information can be recovered from any of the data storage components. 

 Advanced Environmental Options, Inc. is a leader in the fight preservation of our environment.  We continuously strive to find new ways to improve recycling efforts for our customers.  One way we are accomplishing this is through our Light Bulb Recycling services. 

Did you know that throwing away one fluorescent light bulb could pollute up to 6,000 gallons of water with toxic mercury?  Or that one-in-six children born in America every year have been exposed to mercury levels so high that they are potentially at risk for learning disabilities, motor skill impairment and short-term memory loss.  One teaspoon of mercury can contaminate a 20 acre lake forever and an estimated 600 million fluorescent lamps are disposed of in US landfills amounting to 30,000 pounds of mercury waste.

Compact fluorescent light bulbs and lamps are much more energy efficient than standard light bulbs.  However, they pose a huge environmental risk if they aren't recycled and are disposed of in a landfill.  So AEO sends all fluorescent light bulbs to an EPA-approved recycling facility and sends you  a certificate stating the date they were recycled so you can rest assured that mercury from your light bulbs did not pollute the environment.
